     Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ also known as Jeepney) is a public transportation that is common in the Philippines. Driving a jeepney is also one of the common living among the Filipino, since it is not free there are standard fare for a certain kilometer that the LTFRB (Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board) issue to the jeepney operator which the driver must follow in collecting fare.

    Mobile phone (or Smart Phone) is one of the useful things of human kind. It can be use as communication, camera, recorder and many more (depend on the unit of the phone). Mobile Application( also known as Mobile App) is a software that can help the mobile phone be more useful to the user.

   There are instances that the passengers ask for the amount of fare which some driver take advantage by collecting more than the right amount.

    To address this issue the proponents decided to create a PUJ Fare Rate Mobile App. What is this about? it is a Mobile App that can help the passenger to know the right amount of fare the passenger must pay to the driver. Why is it a Mobile App? Because almost all the passenger of the jeepney has mobile phone, and it more convenient for the user to use mobile phone rather laptop or personal computer.
